General Stan McChrystal is one of the most consequential military and leadership thinkers of our time.
A retired four-star general, he led Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) during the most transformative era in U.S. counterterrorism history—commanding elite teams responsible for the capture of Saddam Hussein and the operation that eliminated Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
