I am honored to welcome Lieutenant General Larry D. Wyche, U.S. Army (Ret.), one of America’s most distinguished military logisticians, leadership experts, and executive coaches.
General Wyche’s extraordinary journey began in 1975 when he enlisted in the U.S. Army as a 17-year-old Private and Cavalry Scout. Over the next 42 years, he rose through the enlisted and officer ranks to become a Three-Star General and Deputy Commanding General of the U.S. Army Materiel Command, leading a $58 billion global logistics enterprise with more than 120,000 Soldiers, civilians, and contractors supporting operations around the world.
Throughout his remarkable career, General Wyche became known not only for delivering mission success but also for developing leaders, caring deeply for Soldiers, and never forgetting his enlisted roots. He famously wore his Sergeant rank insignia beneath his general officer uniform as a daily reminder of where he began and who he served.
Today, he continues to impact organizations worldwide as an executive leadership coach, board director, consultant, keynote speaker, and bestselling author of Shirts Off Our Backs, Boots Off Our Feet: How Leadership Enables Logistics and Supply Chain Execution and Gives You the Edge to Win.
