🌟 Meet My Guest: Coach Jen Brown
What happens when 23 years of American diplomacy, global leadership, crisis management, coaching, faith, and service converge into one powerful leadership philosophy?
Lead Yourself. Lead Others. Lead the Mission. 🧭
I’m excited to welcome my friend Coach Jen Brown to the Leadership & Success Podcast!
Jen is the founder of Journey of Grace Coaching, a leadership coach, speaker, trainer, author, podcast co-host, and former U.S. Foreign Service Officer who spent 23 years serving our nation around the world. 🇺🇸🌎
Her diplomatic career included assignments in Ecuador, Honduras, Venezuela, Turkmenistan, Colombia, and Washington, D.C. She led multicultural teams, managed complex programs, advised senior leaders, and led through real-world crises—including operations following Ecuador’s devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake.
Today, Jen helps leaders move from reactive autopilot to intentional leadership—developing the self-awareness, communication, trust, decision-making, and leadership capacity necessary to build stronger people, teams, and organizations.
She also co-hosts the Ripple Effect Leadership Podcast with retired U.S. Ambassador Hugo F. Rodriguez Jr., exploring a principle at the heart of Tuesday’s conversation:
🌊 Leadership creates ripples.
And we’re going deeper.
Jen is the author of Coming Home to Me: A Devotional Journey and its Companion Journal, which bring together scripture, reflection, coaching, faith, intentionality, and the courage to do the inner work that makes outward leadership possible.
Her mantra captures it beautifully:
“Live and lead out loud to be the ripple.” 🌊✨
🎯 What You Will Learn…
✨ Why leadership starts with YOU. Before we can effectively lead others or accomplish the mission, we must first learn to lead ourselves.
✨ Why stillness, reflection, faith, grace, and self-awareness aren't separate from leadership—they can help make better leadership possible.
📚 SPECIAL BOOK SEGMENT: Coming Home to Me
We’ll also explore Jen’s deeply personal:
