Many of us have been told our dreams are impossible. I’ve faced that too – from countless job rejections as a student at The University of Alabama to initial failures joining the US Navy. But what if those “no’s” are actually stepping stones? In this article, I share how
#vision and #grit turned rejection into #opportunity. Learn why Walt Disney’s carousel inspired his grand vision, how Napoleon Hill’s story teaches us to persevere, and why building real cybersecurity or technical experience, even through volunteering, matters as much as certifications.
 
Aspiring cybersecurity pros and future leaders will find concrete advice on breaking in: from entry-level internships and DoD pathways to certifications like CompTIA Security+.
